Specific Objectives
Train and incubate at least 1,000 youths entrepreneurs over three years;
Provide seed funding and technical support to at least 300 viable ventures;
Facilitate access to markets, finance, and business networks;
Promote innovation in agriculture, digital economy, and local industries;
Promote entrepreneurship training and capacity-building;
Facilitate business incubation and mentorship by industry experts;
Implement competitive selection and funding of bankable projects;
Establish enterprise support hubs;
Develop partnerships with financial institutions and the private sectors;
Develop an expert monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) system.
Expected Results and Impact
Creation of at least 300+ sustainable Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises per year;
Generation of 1000 - 2000 direct and indirect jobs for each successful programme;
Increased youth income and economic participation;
Strengthened local value chains and innovation ecosystems;
Scalable model for youth empowerment across Nigeria, and sub-Saharan Africa with emphasis on sustainability and local content.
Implementation Strategy
The project will be implemented in phases:
Pilot phases (Year 1). Selection, training and initial funding.
Expansion Phase (Years 2-3): Scaling successful enterprises.
Sustainability Phase: Linking beneficiaries to long-term financing, markets and strategic partnerships with government agencies, financial institutions, and development partners.
