He is particularly interested in promoting financial literacy, investor education and access to suitable formal financial services for individuals, entrepreneurs and underserved groups. Through teaching, research and institutional engagement, he contributes to human-capital development, stronger university–industry collaboration and a more inclusive and sustainable financial system.

Dr Udoka Bernard Alajekwu is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Finance at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU), Anambra State, Nigeria. He currently serves as Acting Director of the Centre for Capital Market Studies and as Secretary of the ASUU–COOU Branch. His teaching, research and professional interests span corporate finance, capital markets, investment analysis, inclusive finance, SME financing and financial decision-making.
